(NOTE: Lessons are billed by the month.)
Trez Music currently offers private lessons in piano, jazz piano, woodwinds, voice, drums, bass guitar, and guitar. We also offer private instruction in jazz improvisation techniques, music theory, and composition. Our private lesson students have two performance opportunities each year: the Christmas/Holiday Recital Series in December and our formal June Recital Series. We also offer opportunities for masterclasses (depending on the instructor) and private recitals for our advanced students. Our private lessons are taylored to fit the individual needs and interests of our students, while incorporating music theory and technique exercises. Several of our students have continued on to study music in college and/or form their own performance groups.
TUITION: $440/fall semester (September 1 - December 23) = 1 hour band class each week and 1-2 shows
$550/spring semester (January 2 - May 31 + recording sessions) = 1 hour band class each week and 1-2 shows
Our Rock/Jazz Styles Band Classes are designed to give our students an opportunity to perform in a band. These classes meet weekly and learn a repertoire of music to perform out at venues throughout the area. Our ensemble classes have performed at ABC Abbey Bar, The Midtown Scholar, Jubilee Day, Chocolate Fest, Arts Fest, Crostwater, River City, The Black Gryphon, and many other venues in the area. Several of our students from these classes have formed bands and ensemble groups of their own. Our bands perform 1 - 2 shows each semester (Sept. - Dec. and Jan. - May) and participate in a recording session in May. The students learn how to work together as a band. They learn how to play multiple instruments if they like. All repertoire is chosen as a collaborative effort between the instructor and the students. They learn so much and have a whole lot of FUN at the same time!

BAND COACHINGS
Already have a band or are in the process of forming a band? We can help you!!! Trez Music offers coachings for bands that are already put together. These coachings include instruction on creating a tighter sound, set-up and use of PA equipment, and public relations/booking gigs. The coachings are 1 hour sessions each with Jason Mescia and are scheduled at the convenience of the band and the teacher.
SPECIAL NEEDS OPPORTUNITIES
There are several opportunities for special needs students to enjoy music making at Trez Music. Our students include those with learning disabilities, as well as students with William's Syndrome, Downs Syndrome, and Aspergers/Autism. Beth Trez has also worked as a music therapist for students with multiple disabilities in the Harrisburg public schools. Music making helps special needs students with psycho-motor skills, focusing issues, and self-expression.
OTHER
Other programs are available upon request. For example, we have outreached to senior citizens at Country Meadows to create a performance chorus and offer private lessons. We have also created summer programs for preschool students of migrant workers in Adams County.
* Cyber lessons are availble upon request via Facetime, FB Messenger, Zoom, and Skype.
* Trez Music offers payment through Venmo for the convenience of our students and their families.
